Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented DRIVER DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER with experience in networking technology for our Bangalore location. In this role you will work as a Software Development Engineer for developing network drivers for WiMAX modems. Knowledge of Networking and TCP/IP protocols is necessary. Previous experience with WiMAX or other wireless networking technology would be a plus. You will regularly be required to identify, debug and resolve driver/embedded software issues, and therefore must have strong problem solving and communication skills.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years experience developing Linux/Unix networking drivers
• Should have solid C/C++ programming skills
• Should have in-depth knowledge of OS kernel mode programming, kernel debug tools and build tools.
• Hands on experience in at least one hardware bus protocol like USB, SDIO, Cardbus, etc. Familiarity with troubleshooting bus level issues with Logic Analyzers would be a plus.
• Experience with wireless networking would be a plus.
• Experience with driver development in MAC OS X or BSD Unix would be a plus.
