Beceem to supply Motorola with
WiMAX first generation chipsets for use
in CPE and PC cards

2007 - Beceem Communications (www.beceem.com)
today announced that Motorola has selected
Beceem's MS120 Mobile WiMAX chipset for
use in certain models of its first generation
WiMAX CPE and in Beceem supplied PCMCIA
card products.
“We released the world's first 802.16e
terminal chipset,” said David M. Patterson,
Vice President of Marketing at Beceem. “Having
been selected by Motorola acknowledges our
early market lead supplying WiMAX chipsets.”
Beceem Communications mobile WiMAX solution
includes the baseband processor, RF IC and
modem software. Beceem's products include
support for MIMO to enable the highest WiMAX
performance available
