The core of Beceem's success is our
industry-leading baseband and RF chipset
solutions that redefine what's possible in
the mobile WiMAX market. In 2005, we were
the first to market with a pre-WiMAX chipset
called MS100, and followed that success with
the first Wave1 (released January 2006) and
Wave2 (released December 2006) Mobile WiMAX
chipsets.
Unlike other solutions on the market, Beceem
develops both the baseband and RF chips.
This offers a significant number of advantages:

a smaller footprint, making them ideal
for even the smallest of devices.
- Every Beceem product undergoes the most
extensive Interoperability Development
Test (IODT) regimens in the industry -
our IODT partners include Alcatel, Alvarion,
Motorola, Samsung, NEC, Cisco, Huawei, and ZTE.
- Our chipsets and solutions simplify the
design process, giving manufacturers remarkable
flexibility. The result is faster development
and to-market times, which are crucial advantages
in the fierce wireless broadband marketplace.

of the story. Since we co-chair the WiMAX
Forum Certification Group as well as hold
leadership positions in other key industry
groups, we have intimate knowledge of where
the industry is heading. We work closely
with our partners to fulfill their vision

to current standards and flawless future
deployment as new standards gain marketplace
